We are accepting new members. By joining our group we believe that both the member and the group will benefit by enhancing the marketability of our collective acreage.
Substantial acreage blocks are sought by developers for reasons of coordinating drilling units with access to existing and future infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations and stripping plants.
We are positioning ourselves to go to market as soon as the moratorium is lifted, or at any prior time if interest should develop sooner.
We have developed a Geographic Information System (GIS) for our area that allows us to provide a marketable presentation to potential developers.
Our GIS includes all oil and gas wells registered with DEC & DEP, all Marcellus permits in PA, Allegany County core study data, transmission pipelines, faults, parcel boundaries, state and county forestlands, electric transmission lines, take-offs, etc., which allows a potential developer to see the advantages that our group offers.
Our founders have been involved in the oil & gas industry most of their adult lives in leasing, drilling, and operating wells, and in the legal field, and have been involved in several prior lease transactions.
We feel that this combination of experience qualifies our founders to substantially assist the group in making industry contacts and negotiating the best terms for a transaction.
Our founders bear 100% of the cost of organizing and marketing the group’s acreage, including adding each member’s acreage to our GIS. There is no cost to the member for these services. Upon acceptance of a transaction, our founders charge a fee to the buyer representing a percentage of the signing bonus.
There is no fee charged against the member’s future revenue flows such as rentals and royalties, and there is no fee if a lease transaction is not accepted before the deadline.
There is no deadline for joining our group, however, we intend to accept the first lease offer that meets our criteria. We will not be in a position to allow entry to our group after a letter of intent has been signed. It is thus incumbent upon each landowner to decide in advance whether or not they will be best served by joining with us.
Upon joining our group, our members are provided with a username and password to log on to the private sections of this website, where a copy of the GIS is displayed, educational materials are provided and updates are posted.
In order to join our group, a new member must sign an agency agreement with us setting forth the minimum terms for a lease transaction. We cannot disclose this information in this public venue as we are open to view by potential buyers.
If you would like to receive more information on our group, our business plan, and the minimum terms of our agency agreement, please contact us by clicking on the Contact Us button at the top of this page.
You will initially be asked to provide information concerning your mineral rights in the above townships. Please be prepared to provide us with your tax map identification number and the book and page where your deed is recorded. We then ask that you allow us a reasonable time for us to conduct due diligence by verifying your interest before we reply.
The reason that we verify identities before responding to requests for information is that our bargaining position could be weakened if this information is readily available to persons on the buy side.
Thank you for viewing our public site.
